ELODIE MICHAUD – 2018 Collection – Wedding dress

Hello lovely readers! Today we are really excited to share with you the new collection of talented French designer Elodie Michaud.

After her studies in Art History, Elodie started to work at the prestigious fashion house Chanel, where she discovered a new world of fashion and her passion for beautiful material and the perfectly cut forms was born. To pursue her dream to become a designer, she took classes at the fashion school L’Esmod in Paris where she realized that wedding dresses correspond to her universe.

For her first collection in 2014, Elodie Michaud created short wedding dresses that became her fashion trademark. She developed her collection by proposing to modern brides short and long dresses as well as pants suits.

The 2018 collection has something of romantic and poetic with all this mixture of lace and satin that make the dress just perfectly feminine and classy just as we love them.

Let Elodie tell on her own words about her latest collection: ” I wanted a new collection full of freshness, natural, simple and feminine, with silk movements each more wavy than the last. Cut lines that are simple and pure, highlighted by beautiful Calais lace backs, with a touch of satin, glamorous and feminine. Continuing with many short style dresses and mid length retro style dresses, the true trademark of my world while also providing more and more long dresses, light and fluid. The beaches in Normandie’s “Petites Dalles” are timeless, raw and vivid with soft hues. This made it the perfect place to stage my new collection.’’

In short, Elodie Michaud has delivered a simply gorgeous collection that suits every bride. It is full of romanticism, delicacy, not to mention the fluidity of the dresses.
